Personal

Montréal
I've seen many sides to Montréal over the years. My initiael journey there wrapped up my first summer internship, which happened to be at a small company in Philadelphia. Dale, being the mentor and friend I had learned from over the past three months, took delight in ensuring I had to speak as much of my poor high school French as possible. We presented at a tiny tradeshow devoted to the last years of the once-great technological marvel, the Amiga computer. The event was followed by my first exposure to karaoke in a bar, where he proceeded to sing his trademark Wild Thing; Dale had previously been featured in an Amiga magazine doing the same song while an engineer at Commodore.

Trips to this magical city were my first and last stamps on my current passport. The most recent was for the 11th Bal en Blanc at the Palais du Congrés. I accompanied Ana and her friends to join over 10,000 fans all dressed in white, dancing to Tiësto and seven other DJs throughout the night. We lasted until 11 a.m. the next morning when we finally had to leave Deep Dish and collapse for an hour before returning home. It was truly a night I will never forget.
