Friends shape our lives and alter our path not that much different than a river. These are some of mine. |

Adam was the first person I met in college where we had many fun times. Eventually when he graduated, we went cross-country to work in San Francisco at an ISP for a summer. Now he lives in Florida and created a huge online game. Adrian was my roommate for two years at Penn State. His influence led me to Orbital, Blümchen, and the vast genre of electronic music, among other things. He lives in Philly and is the best Flash developer I know. Charlie I met through Adrian. Since attending Cornell, he has rarely left Ithaca and has built quite a collection of toys, games, and memoribilia. Chris should also be mentioned even though I have not heard from him since 2000. We had a lot of fun working on the Penn State Forum, the first online-only newsmagazine at the university. Dale was my first boss, president of a small software and book publishing company in Philadelphia. He is now travelling the world and writing about it! Jeremy was my gracious host in Thailand though he recently moved to China. We didn't meet until I was in Philly but he grew up 10 minutes from my house and went to the college where my dad taught. Jessica and John I am lucky enough to have as coworkers at the PR firm where I am responsible for our search engine optimization clients. Mike has been my boss three times. Once during an internship at Scala, then again at Scala when I returned after college, and then a third time when I brought him to the PR firm where I currently work. Robin I have known for many years but did not become such close friends until last year when we both moved to New York. She is managing editor of the magazine known as Permission. |
